99 countries (and counting!)
The aim of this blog you ask? To inspire you to travel anywhere and everywhere (we, all know the lesser visited places are big on my list), to share my knowledge and of course, my story with you.
I'm a creative girl with a background in graphic design & photography, always have been since a young age. Photography played a crucial role in my teenage years until this very day, you'll never catch me without a camera in my bag whether it be analogue or digital.
STEPH, TELL ME YOUR TRAVEL STORY
I'll be short and sweet - promise.
I first travelled overseas on a study tour in secondary school because I studied the language for 10 years - Japan was the first country I ever visited back in 2008.
Fast forward to university, I applied to study overseas and got accepted to study in Florence, Italy in 2014. This is what well and truly ignited the travel bug.
From 2015-2019 I travelled 3-4 months of the year, along side working a full time job + other casual jobs to fund my travels; I visited 6/7 continents during this time. Each year was filled with a new adventure, in a new area I would want to explore and learn about. Every year when I arrived home, I always had an idea of where I'd like to visit next, or I'd see a photograph online of something brilliant that I'd want to see in real life, so I then made it my mission to get there the following year.
In 2023, I wanted to spend the last year of my twenties doing something I loved, so I went on a round the world trip for 5.5 months solo and had the time of my life.
2024/2025 was a year of slower travel; visiting fewer new countries, however indulging in-depth for a real feel of the new places I was discovering.
